Pam dach chi isio cerdded dros Cymru yn siarad dim iaith ond Cymraeg?

Pan roeddwn i’n mynd trwy yr amser anoddaf yn fy mywyd, des i i Gymru am dwy mis. Efo help o’r daith a fy ffrindau ym Moston a Chymru, dw i wedi ffeindio fy ffordd ymlaen. Felly, wedais i wrth fy hun, fy mod i’n dychwelyd a rhoi rhwybeth yn ôl i Gymru.

Nes i ymweld Cymru bob haf am 15 flwydden. Un flwydden, es i i’r Castell Caernarfon ac welais i yr arddangosfa Tywysog Cymru. Criais i. Criais i achos on i’n meddwl am y Coron a’r gamdriniaeth a ddioddefwyd gan Cymru trwy’r canrifoedd. Why are you walking through Wales and speaking no language but Welsh?

When I was going through the most difficult time in my life, I came to Wales for two months. With the help of the trip and my friends in Moston and Wales, I have found my way forward. So, I said to myself, that I would return and give something back to Wales.

I visited Wales every summer for 15 years. One year, I went to Caernarfon Castle and saw the Prince of Wales exhibition. I cried. I cried because I thought about the Crown and the abuse that Wales suffered through the centuries. I thought about the language, and how the Prince doesn’t speak Welsh,[1] and I thought I should do a language tour. 15 years ago I decided to move to Wales and do this trip. The time is now.

[1] Some people will say that the new king and prince can speak Welsh, but they don’t do more than speak a few words and pronounce the words on a page.
